This is becoming one of favorites spots since moving to my new place in December. It’s truly an amazing space to go for a walk or run along the canal. Great new spots to be discovered. Looking forward to settling here.
Just counting down to the winter days ahead. Anyhow, just showcasing little moments taken around Dubai on my daily commute from the last few days while it’s getting cooler. Enjoy.
The last time I wrote a blog was my Australia trip and so much has changed since then. I have grown so much while I was in Cape Town and recently I’ve relocated in Dubai.
Anyhow, this will be for a different subject itself, but I’ve dreamt travel to Vietnam quite awhile. In general I love the idea of traveling in South East Asia. When Thailand last year, it was one of the goals I needed to visit.
I got to visit Hanoi, a trulls special city. It’s busy, yet quite rustic with a lot of french influence from the coffee culture to speciality cake shops from colonial days. The architecture around the Old Quarter is quite eclectic from the tradition to colonial day, and bustling organized chaos from the traffic and shops. On the weekends, the city in the night is family and tourist haven as some of the streets are closed. Very cool entertainment by local artists to a market with almost everything you think off. Surprisingly I found majority people are so friendly and welcoming. Even you don’t shop they still say thank you.
I managed to visit Halong Bay on a day trip, what beautiful piece of the world. With mostly untouched islands, but in recent year it’s been popular to tourist. I highly recommend this.
Overall, I would definitely go back for a visit and make it a longer trip.
